Designed for diabetes educators, caregivers and researchers, our professional training opportunities keep you up to date on the latest developments and practices in our field. Programs are targeted to the needs of particular audiences and presented in a variety of formats and venues across Oklahoma.

NEXT EVENT: May 17, 2013. Primarily for diabetes educators (nurse practitioners, RNs, dieticians, pharmacists, et al.), Beyond the Basics is held annually in the spring. The program provides an overview of diabetes care and teaching/learning principles while serving as an excellent venue for networking with other diabetes professionals. Details and registration |

NEXT EVENT: Oct. 25, 2013. The Diabetes Research Symposium is an annual, one-day meeting for all researchers whose work relates to diabetes. Its aim is to bring together diabetes researchers working in Oklahoma, regardless of age, experience or scientific discipline. The meeting is intended to inform participants about the interests of other investigators and to stimulate discussion and new collaborations. Details and RSVP |
